| Project Background/Rationale |
This project is one of the three components of the Earthquake Rehabilitation Programme (ERP) which was aimed at rehabilitation of agriculture, health and transport infrastructure following the earthquake of July 1990. |
| Project Objective |
This component provides financial and technical assistance towards the restoration and strengthening of normal health services through the rebuilding of a 100-bed provincial hospital. The strengthening of community outreach is to be assured by the Department of Health. |
