The European Commission is currently in the process of reviewing its development cooperation strategy for the Philippines. The main objective of this exercise is to assess the EC Philippines Country Strategy Paper 2007-2013 in order to update its relevance. The review is thus a timely opportunity for us to take into consideration the evolution in needs and priorities of all actors involved, and to take these into account in our future development cooperation programme.

In this context we held a series of consultation meetings during the months of February and March 2009, targeting specifically local development stakeholders: Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Local Government Units, private sector organizations, members of Congress, etc.

The summary of the discussions during the consultations can now be downloaded in pdf.
